China National Report, 1999-2002

The Chinese National Committee for IUGG is pleased to present the 1999-2002 quadrennial China National Report on Geodesy and Geophysics to the membership of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics.

The current National Report is the sixth China National Report to the IUGG.It contains seven parts complied by the following sub-committees:

1. Geodesy, Report to IAG;
2. Geomagnetism and Aeronomy,Report to IAGA;
3. HydrologicalSciences,Report to IAHS;
4. Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences, Report to IAMAS;
5. Physical Sciences of the Oceans,Report to IAPSO;
6. Seismology and Physics of the Earth's Interior,Report to IASPEI;
7. Volcanology and Chemistry of the Earth's Interior,Report to IAVCEI.

The authors of each report are based on invitation. The Chinese National Committee for IUGG sincerely acknowledges the effort made by its sub-committees and the sponsorship and support of the Department of International Affairs,Chinese Association for Science and Technology(CAST).
